|  The day we spotted this empty house on Delaware Drive in Stallion Springs, it was hard to tell what we were getting into with all the snow.  Our in-house design and rendering was produced. "Let's convert the garage for more usable living space, and use the wasted space for a separate garage".  Time to get going - putting local contractors to work is a big part of our mission!  Foundation is done, concrete always brought in locally to reduce fuel consumption and to support local infrastructures.  Adding a new garage and converting the old was an inexpensive way to convert existing square footage into usable space and higher value.  The cracked and worn vinyl siding is entirely removed. |  Here's another project in Tehachapi, CA. It was another perfect case study candidate - very tired. It became a wonderful, affordable and efficient new home for a family, while producing a winning outcome for the private investors.  Adding a gable not only increased design appeal, but also provides for shade from the sun and a new area to entertain.  The completed exterior design.   This project was a Bronze-level Greenovation, and has already become a wonderful home for a new family.  Play Pause |
 More Projects: Though our focus today is on smaller houses, we'd thought you'd like to see our largest project. A complete transformation of a 6,800 square foot house in Laguna Hills, CA. It started out like the set for the Munsters!  We designed the exterior...using recycled materials where ever possible (such as the used bricks). An unusual shot - Bruce has hands in pocket!  More progress...  Retained much of the original shrubs to suit a more symmetric design. It required less irrigation through such features as drought resistant ground cover, and low-voltage recirculating fountains.  Curb appeal is king. Here's our competed project on Nellie Gail Road, in Laguna Hills, CA.  Our 25492 Nellie Gail Road project was featured in two magazines, including January 2001 Orange County Home, which used the property as a model example of Nellie Gail life. Play Pause |
